Coco is a slightly shy 13 year old Burmese girl. She\u2019s beautiful in nature and unlikely to be a nuisance or give you any trouble. She is starting to get old, and we suspect she might have the cat equivalent of Parkinson’s starting. She\u2019s a bit slow.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coco sleeps quite a lot. She\u2019s happy in most warm places but particularly keen on your lap in front of the TV or once she\u2019s comfortable with you, will get in under the bed covers at night with you.
Failing that, she will cuddle up to Rory and sleep on anything warm.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Coco is a fussy eater and takes her time. She doesn\u2019t have a sense of urgency at all, so we have to separate the two at breakfast and dinner otherwise Rory will eat everything.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
If you give Coco tinned cat food, she\u2019ll tend to lick the gravy off the meat and leave the rest so we only give her tinned food when we run out of fresh meat. She doesn\u2019t have many teeth left so biscuits aren\u2019t really her thing, but often she\u2019ll have a few.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
She also has medication with her meal \u2013 more of that below.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Rory would graze all day if he could, although he\u2019s a slightly fussy eater. He tends to munch his breakfast and dinner with gusto and then goes to check out how Coco is doing. He\u2019ll push her off her bowl and finish it off for her if left unchecked.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Medication
Coco has \u00bc of a capsule of Gabapentin with breakfast and dinner which we just mix in. We also add a sprinkle of Psyllium (to keep her \u2018regular\u2019). We just put a few drops of warm water into her food and mix it all up.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We\u2019ve left some Gabapentin and Psyllium by the kitchen window (beside the door)<\/p>\n\n\n\n
